Milan Linate Airport is Milan's third international airport, the second-largest city in the biggest metropolitan region in Italy, after Malpensa Airport and Orio al Serio Airport. It handled 9,233,475 passengers in 2018, becoming Italy's fifth-busiest hub, and is used as a platform by Alitalia and Alitalia CityLiner. The airport was founded next to Idroscalo in Milan in the 1930s. Linate was fully restored in the 1950s and again in the 1980s. The name derives from the tiny village where it is situated in the town of Peschiera Borromeo. Its formal name is Enrico Forlanini Airport, an Italian inventor and aeronautical visionary born in Milan. Linate airport buildings are in the Municipality of Segrate and are mostly in the Municipality of Peschiera Borromeo.

Short stay parking Travelers to Linate Airport or passengers who do not need a long duration of parking can use short-stay parking spaces. Such places are situated just outside the airport's Entry and Departure zones. You must make payments for this parking space in advance at the parking meter. The parking cost is EUR 0.90 for every 15 minutes reserved for a limit of EUR 26 a day.

Long stay parking P1 multi-level parking The parking lot is next to the airport terminal and has 1,327 spaces open. It's accessible 24 hours a day.

P2 parking area There are 1,240 spots available in this area, within walking distance of the terminal center. The car park is open 24 hours a day. Passengers can pay for the parking time they need, or they can sign up for airport parking. Subscriptions are valid for six months or one year. P3 parking area It is a completely new multilevel parking space that has just been opened, presenting drivers with far more parking places.

Car transfer parking Linate Airport provides the opportunity to move your vehicle from the airport of departure (LIN) to the car parks of the airport of arrival.

Disabled parking facilities There are 26 parking places for disabled vehicles in the P1 car park. These are on the second floor of Area B. Limited parking spaces are also accessible in P2 and the short-stay parking field. These spaces are free of charge. Passengers exiting will have ample time to locate an appropriate parking spot at the airport and to fly by shuttle bus to the terminal by utilizing one of the more isolated parking areas.
