Rome — The International Airport of Ciampino "G. B. Pastine" is the second international airport in Rome, the capital of Italy, after the airport of Rome-Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci." It is a combined civilian, industrial and military airport located 6.5 NM (12.0 km; 7.5 mi) southeastern side of central Rome, just outside the Greater Ring Road that is a circular motorway through the city.
