Mozart, is Austria's second largest airport and is named after the Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart who was born in Salzburg in 1756. The airport serves Salzburg and is a gateway to Austria's numerous ski areas. The airport is located just four kilometers from the city centre of Salzburg and 2 km from the Austrian-German border.
